Boston University drives enrollment with MindMax. Genealogy enrollments exceed expectations. When Boston University’s Center for Professional Education launched their Online Certificate in Genealogical Research in 2009, they were hopefully optimistic that it would reach the same level of popularity of their already successful classroom program. The MindMax team was able to reach that goal in the first session in October with only two months of marketing.
With only two additional months of marketing, MindMax was able to triple those enrollments for the January 2010 session. The program has now successfully launched, and enrollments are increasing for every subsequent session. MindMax works closely with Boston University, all the leading Genealogical Associations, and attends several Genealogy conferences every year to continue a strong Boston University brand presence in the Genealogy Field.
Brown University
Brown University CE successfully launches online programs in Medicine, Engineering and Leadership. In the spring of 2009, the Dean of Continuing Education articulated her vision of starting online programs for pre-college students at Brown. MindMax and its partners collaborated with the Brown CE team and identified their most popular summer on-campus program “So You Want to Be a Doctor?” as a good initial candidate. Work started building the online version in May, and less than 120 days later, the fall online session launched! This 60-hour interactive online program has received rave reviews from students, faculty, and graduate assistants. The first session filled quickly, and ongoing sessions are increasing enrollments steadily.
Brown CE has a terrifically successful Pre-college summer on-campus program. By providing three sessions of online programs each year, Brown is able to reach more students in more locations worldwide, and provide a more consistent work load for faculty and staff throughout the year. Building on the success of the first online program, Brown and the MindMax team launched two more in the Spring or 2010. Exploring Engineering: Problem Solving in Biotech, Nanotech & Renewable Energy and Lessons in Leadership: What History’s Great Leaders Can Teach Us Today.
Using the MindMax team, Brown University CE was able to create a plan and then design and launch three online programs in less than one year.
